Terms & Conditions

By using our service clients agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions

1. We charge a small initial setup fee (£50). It is extremely time consuming putting together a custom website, and while we do not charge for the design itself we are subject to hosting costs and licence fees for inclusion of certain files, the setup fee covers our initial overheads.
2. Once the initial design has been approved the client agrees to start payment from the 1st of the first month after initiating our services. Due to several clients who have strung out the build phase for months we have had no choice but to introduce this policy. We can typically have a site completed in 2-3 weeks if a client is reasonably fast to supply details and respond to our questions, our hope is that by setting up the payment at the start the client will want to get the site completed as promptly as we do.
3. All applications we create MUST reside on the professional servers we lease - this ensures we can protect our intellectual property (html/css server side scripting), the code behind the application as well as ensure the server can meet the powerful abilities we build into our applications! The website or design cannot, under any circumstances be moved to another hosting company or design be recreated without our explicit written consent!
4. If additional features/changes are required to your application after the initial set up period has expired (the set up period expires once you agree the site is completed) we charge an additional £15 an hour for further requested changes. A free estimate will be provided before any work is undertaken... This is ***extremely*** rare as we meet all of the clients needs during the initial setup period. It is the clients responsibility to inform us of all the needs/pages during the initial setup process in order to avoid additional time constraints for us and additional fees for them!
5. All websites we create come with a monthly fee which covers the monthly hosting costs and allows us to run search engine optimisation on the site to achive page one results for your major search term!
6. Tattoo Web Design does not take responsibility nor will it be held responsible for copyright infringement and/or legal action that arise from the use of images, photographs, text content or logos supplied by the Client for inclusion on their web site.

   It is the solitary responsibility of the Client to ensure they have the relevant permissions/rights to use all material supplied.

   Tattoo Web Design reserves the right to refuse any content when in doubt of copyright ownership.

7. We do not provide you with FTP access to your files - Any modifications to your application can be achieved either through the user interface we supply you with or by us directly. Again this ensures we can protect our intellectual property!
